Personal Training


EGB Personal Training offers a value for money service from the comfort of your own home. All equipment is brought along to the session by Emma, so you don’t have to worry about having a gym membership or having lots of equipment at home. Emma offers a complete personal training package to perform a fun, enjoyable session and help you achieve your goals, and best of all you don’t even need to leave your front door.

Personal Training is available in the Aldershot and Farnborough area at £12.50 for a 30 minute session and £25 for a 60 minute session, for other areas like Camberley, Farnham and Guildford at £15 for a 30 minute session and £30 for a 60 minute session.



Pre & Post Natal Exercise Prescription


There are many benefits for both mother and baby during pregnancy.

For mothers physical benefits include improved posture and joint stability, helping to maintain day to day mobility, reduction in back pain, fitness and weight maintenance, better sleep and most importantly quicker labour and recovery time. Other benefits also include improved well-being through relaxation, better energy levels and improved self-confidence. For babies it can help provide more oxygen to the placenta, give baby a lower resting heart rate and improved post lung function. By exercising during your pregnancy you are helping to give your baby a healthy and relaxed start in life.

If you are pregnant and thinking about exercising it might be a bit daunting, especially if it's your first child. You might be unsure as to what kind of exercise is most appropriate and safe for you to do. Emma is a qualified pre/post natal instructor and can advise you on what is best for yourself and your baby.

Returning to Exercise after giving birth can be a worry for most mums, the physiological changes which occur during pregnancy can continue 4-6 weeks after giving birth so a return to exercise should be gentle and gradual. Mums who have had a c-section may require a longer recovery time and been given the ok to exercise from a medical professional. During pregnancy, your abdominal muscles separate and these can take time to recover. Doing the wrong kind of abdominal exercise too soon after child birth can make the problem worse so do take advice from your mid-wife or exercise specialist. The most important thing is your baby but if they are happy and healthy then exercising after child birth can help with instances of post natal depression and help you get your pre-baby body and confidence back.
